Description
• Responsible for knowing and following policies and procedures, sharing information that benefits team members, and finding ways to improve service delivery to customers.
• Establishes the design, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of the network and the various equipment and cabling that it consists of.
• Provides in-person and remote support to other team members, support engineers, and end-users.
• Performs the physical installation of all switches, routers, firewalls, wireless access points, and other related equipment.
• Responsible for the overall safety of personnel while operating in manufacturing environments.

Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology Systems.
• 0–3 years of experience in a related IT area.
• Demonstrated knowledge of the OSI Model and Local and Wide Area Networks.
• Working knowledge of investigating and resolving first-echelon help desk service requests related to network infrastructure.
• Must be able to travel as necessary and authorized to work in the U.S.

Preferred Qualifications
• Working knowledge of Layer 2 and Layer 3 switches.
• Understanding of VLAN concepts and configuration.
• Experience with wireless technologies (Aerohive and Cisco).
• Familiarity with traffic capture techniques and software.
• Working knowledge of IPv4 networking, routing, and protocols.
